Chisholm Sued By His Former Lawyers

I guess this could be considered a follow-up to this post here. As you can see below, former Chisholm attorney Bruce Fehr's law firm, Liberis and Associates, is suing Johnny Chisholm in Escambia County Circuit Court for "Contract and Indebtedness:"


I don't have easy access to the state court pleadings, so I'm not sure what the exact dollar amount of "indebtedness" we're talking; but since it's a Florida Circuit Court case the amount would have to be over the jurisdictional minimum of $15,000.

Note that this case is not impeded by the automatic stay in the Chisholm Properties Circuit Events bankruptcy, as Liberis is suing Chisholm personally only, and not CPCE.

Addendum 11/18/09: Chisholm failed to file an answer, and defaulted on the suit. Whatever Liberis was asking for, it got. Or at least a judgment to, anyways...
